Brow lamination gives you a fuller, more uniform brow by resetting the hair into a new position. Here's how to look after your brows afterwards to maintain the shape and keep the hair healthy.
First 24 Hours
- Keep brows completely dry
- Avoid touching or brushing the brow area unnecessarily
- Do not apply makeup or skincare directly over the brows
- Avoid creams, retinol, acids and self tan around the area for 72 hours
- Avoid sleeping face down or on your side
- Avoid swimming, saunas, steam and excessive heat
Colour may appear slightly stronger in the first 24 hours and will naturally soften.
After 24 Hours and Ongoing Care
- Apply a conditioning serum morning and night. We recommend Elleeplex Aftercare Serum or Brow Code Gold Nourishing Growth OilÂ
- Cleanse gently and pat dry. Avoid scrubbing
- Avoid oil based cleansers and makeup removers, as these can cause tint, dye or henna to fade more quickly
- Brush brows into place each morning with a clean spoolie to maintain shape
- Limit prolonged direct sun exposure and wear SPF when outdoors
- Avoid swimming pools and salt water for at least 7 days
Maintenance
We recommend rebooking your brow lamination every 6 to 8 weeks to maintain shape and hair condition.
For ongoing care between appointments, book a Brow Maintenance appointment at 3 to 4 weeks. This includes a brow sculpt, tint, dye or henna refresh and a nourishing keratin treatment to support the hair between lamination services.
